What makes the FBI Clan different from other clans?

The FBI Clan is a cheat-free, friendly, and mature gaming community that strives to provide the best gaming experience possible. Our mod team is consistently creating the most innovative game play for each supported game. Our admins diligently monitor all of our servers to ensure that they are free from both cheaters and others who would otherwise spoil your gaming experience. Think Punkbuster nails them all? Think again...and our admins stay on the cutting edge of anti-cheating technology. Clan members also staff nearly a dozen other teams to help support the FBI gaming community.

Perhaps more importantly, however, the clan also maintains an extremely strong and tight-knit online community. Unlike many other clans, we actually get along...with clan members routinely traveling hundreds of miles to participate in clan events or to just meet other members in person. We don't recruit based on skill level...we recruit based on character...and the result is an extremely strong and dedicated group of brothers and sisters...who just happen to be able to kick ass on the battlefield.


How many FBI Clan members are there?

There are currently about 100 active FBI members, with several on temporary leave for other commitments, including deployed military service, educational leave, and personal leave.


What are the requirements for FBI Clan membership?

The minimum requirements for FBI Clan membership are:

• Demonstrated commitment to our game servers
• Active in our online community (forums, Ventrilo)
• At least 16 years-old, although exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis
• Willingness to follow all FBI Clan rules and policies
• Good attitude and sportsmanship

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

There are many, but some of the highlights include:

• Private slots on all of our servers
• Private practice sessions
• Private forum areas
• Private matches against other clans/groups
• Being a member of our extended family...and enjoying the support and camaraderie that goes hand-in-hand with that membership

Does it cost anything to join?

No, we do not have enrollment or initiation fees.


Is there a monthly fee?

No.  We do, however, have monthly server payments, so any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Otherwise, we can't keep the servers running and lag-free.


How do I join?

Clan membership is by invitation only. There is no application process and there are no try outs.

Gaming skills are nice, but they honestly aren't very important to us. Instead, the FBI Clan seeks out new members who have demonstrated a long-term commitment to our community and to our ideals. Players who eventually get the invite are those who have played on our servers regularly, participated in our forums and on our Ventrilo chat server, displayed a good attitude, and showed good sportsmanship.

Does getting an invite happen quickly? Frankly, no.

The FBI Clan is very selective about new members...and once tags are given, they are given for life. Thus, the decision to extend an invitation of Clan membership is not made lightly. That said, it does happen. Almost all of our Clan members started out as new players on our servers. They enjoyed the mods and the community so they stuck around and had fun...and eventually got the nod...so stick around if you are having fun and see what happens.

While not a requirement for getting an invitation to be an {FBI} member, service in the our FBI Regulars players group (the "REGz") is normally the path to membership.
